Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 May 2026

This policy explains how Warpgate PTE. LTD. (“Warpgate”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit warpgate.ventures or interact with us through this website. We have written it to align with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation.

1. Who is the data controller

Warpgate PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For data-protection enquiries, contact us at hello@warpgate.ventures.

2. What we collect

When you visit the site, we collect a small set of operational data to keep the site working and to understand how it is used:

  • Visitor identifier. A randomly generated UUID stored in a first-party HTTP-only cookie named visitor_id, used to count unique visits per page. The cookie is valid for one year and is not shared with third parties.
  • Page view records. The page name you viewed, with no other content data.
  • Referrer hostname. If you arrived from another website, we record only the hostname (for example, “linkedin.com”), not the full URL. Self-referrals are recorded as “direct”.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting providers maintain short-lived server logs that may include IP address, browser user agent, and request timestamps. These are used for security and operational diagnostics.

When you complete the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. Submitting the form is voluntary and means you consent to our processing of that information for the purposes set out below.

3. Why we collect it

  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To understand which pages are visited and from which sources, so we can prioritise content.
  • To respond to enquiries you submit through the contact form.
  • To detect and prevent abuse of the website or contact form.

Where the GDPR applies, our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in running and improving the website, and your consent in the case of contact-form submissions.

4. Where the data is processed

We use a small number of third-party service providers under written processing terms:

  • Hosting and infrastructure. The site and its API endpoints are hosted with established cloud providers. Server logs and operational data are stored on their infrastructure.
  • Managed Redis. Page-view counters, visitor identifiers, and contact-form submissions are stored in a managed Redis service.
  • Internal notifications. When you submit the contact form, the contents are forwarded to a private Warpgate internal channel so that we can respond promptly.

Some of these providers are based outside Singapore or the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on contractual safeguards with those providers to ensure a comparable standard of protection, in line with PDPA section 26 and equivalent requirements.

5. How long we keep it

  • Visitor cookie: up to one year, or until you clear it.
  • Aggregate page-view counts: retained while operationally useful.
  • Contact-form submissions: retained for up to 24 months for follow-up, then deleted on request or in routine cleanup.
  • Server logs: retained per the relevant provider's default policy, typically a short rolling window.

6. What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal data.
  • We do not run third-party advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or cross-site retargeting on this site.
  • We do not use website data to train any AI model.

7. Your rights

Subject to the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of that data, to withdraw consent, and to request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@warpgate.ventures. You can clear the visitor cookie at any time through your browser settings.

8. Client engagements

This policy covers the public website only. Where Warpgate Solutions is engaged to deliver services, the handling of client documents and operational data is governed by the engagement letter and the relevant data-processing terms agreed with that client.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL, with the “Last updated” date above reflecting the most recent change.
